Why is it that one minute you can be smiling and the next crying? Even more I wander how is it that you can be laughing yet at the same time think there's no point? Its all so contradicting, so ironic at times. And why does this happen? Is it just certain depressed people or anyone? Can it strike at any time? Is this a disease? Of course there are answers but we can't hear them all. Besides if every question had an answer then what would be the need for life?
Why is it that people can be snacking on a doughnut and saying "GOD MY LIFE SUCKS" when people in 3rd world countries are suffering from malnutrition and kids are dying every second from it? Why does depression effect those with money the most?
The truth is, no matter where, who, what your are, you'll always want more than you have. Even when at first we can think that thats all we've ever wanted. Then a few days go by and the next thing you know you want more or better.
Though this whole selfish catastrophy isnt for all animals, in fact, it's only humans that can think of themselves as an "I" or a "me". Animals survive on instinct, while humans think. Though this may be an astonishing thing at first, if we look deeper, we can see that this is a cruel burden put upon us by nature. Animals do not have the mental capacity to think of themselves as a "me".
Though we can't help being selfish, we could at least try to show our genorosity. Most people sit back and say "I'll just let the government handle this one". Well FYI, the government sends money over there and do you know what happens to that money? It goes straight to summer homes for the government of these 3rd world countries. We send millions of dollars over there and none of it gets to the people it was meant to get to.
Though even though we send money, it's still for our benefit. It's IMPOSSIBLE to not be selfish when your a human being. Yet we don't even try. And why not?
You could classify every human being as depressed. And for all I know, they are. Because we'll always want more.
Adults can be very very selfish though. The reason being because they tell us they diserve more respect than us, they silence us in the middle of class, and they treat us like a different--undermining--species. Well, what they don't realize is that later on, we'll be the leaders of the world they will be the elderly in nursing homes. And ultimatly, there fate is up to us. Yet we won't all get revenge.

And since, in my opinion, the whole humans being selfish thing is true then why? Why don't all kids get revenge?

Why is everything so contradicting? And why are people selfish? And is anybody optimistic? Why does the government have to get involved with everything, because it just makes us rely on them more?
